HID question

I just purchased some 10k HIDs and I'm going to put them on no matter what I just want to know if they are legal or not lol. I mean they are going to have a tint of blue but I have seen some cars that come stock with that. Are they legal or am I going to get pulled over by a bored cop with nothing better to do?

10k is pretty blue, I'm gonna say there is definately a possibility of you getting pulled over but I can't say "you will be pulled over."

well in that case it doesnt matter hoe blue they are.... as long as i dont blind on coming traffic and the visibility is good there should be no reason to get pulled over...

Isnt 10k going towards the purple side? or is that like 14k? either way 10k is obviously not stock looking even for an HID kit so id expect fix-it tickets up the yin yang!

with 10k's you will most likely blind the other drivers. the higher the temp, the more glare it produces

I'd hate to be in your shoes driving in the rain.

I have a 6000K kit. Went through one rainy season, and I honestly want 4300K.

Why is that? How does it make driving in rain difficult. I can understand how it could maybe make driving in fog hard, seems like it would be like having your high beams on, but how so in rain?

I've driven through rain and fog. The light output sucks IMO. I'm waiting for my bulbs or ballast to crap out on me so I can get 4300K.

it sucks driving in the rain because its not as bright. the higher the temp the less light output there is.
