Any good shops in San Diego?
So I have the HFP suspension kit, SPC front and rear camber kit and Progress rear sway bar and I'm trying to find any good places the can install this and align it properly.
I asked Pacific Honda how much it would to install just the HFP kit and they said it was going to take 15 hours at $93 and hour. I'm not paying $1,400 bucks for an install when the kit only costed me $550. Even the service guy was surprised at that. You know you're getting shafted when the service guy says "damn..." So anybody know of any shops in San Diego that does good work for a bit more of a reasonable price and service time? |

The sway bar is easy. I did it myself. The other stuff i dont know. If you were in LA i would tel you to go to Performance Plus. They did my springs and alignment for 200.00. theyll do rear camber arms for 40 each. I tried to do those myself but i wasnt strong enough.

yeah, the sway bar is easy enough to do yourself as long as you remember the orientation of the bar. A lot of people have been putting them on backwards.
Suspension-wise, I'm not comfortable enough to do it on my own nor do I have the tools. Ball Honda has been pretty cool with me in terms of service. Haven't had any issues with their parts/service department....but then again I only have an intake and the sway bar on my car. HFP springs are next on my list of stuff to do.... |
