updated: 4/11, Car is officially a total loss. 2-3 weeks i'll be getting money from the insurance to get another car. The amount isn't set yet but its to be between 18-20k. So for the mean time i'll be looking for another SI, Let me know if you guys see any around! As for the driver of the neon... homeboy is in big trouble.

My new car will not be here soon enough... ahh such horrible withdrawls right now. Need manual vehicle and great vtec, and tight turns!

Will post my only decent pic tomorrow but the car is totaled. What i just spend hours with sir matt and his friend gabe saturday morning installing fogs, cleaning filters etc is now no more. Who can i thank more then a genius who decides to pass me up on a one way rode during a blind.

He goes head on with a car which is then pushed to my lane and i run head on to that car.

GG, i'm going to go cry some more but its so ironic how i just spent so much time doing work on my car in just the past couple of weeks to have this happen.

Just 3 months and this car has grown on me so much...

What gets to me the most is this is going to affect my insurance rates... not to mention i dont think i'll be given enough money to buy another 8th.

Oh and one of my works is bent into an egg shape. Other 3 are ok. Hopefully i can part out the car for what is left of my aftermarket things before insurance takes it... no way i'm letting them take xd9s.

anyone been in this situation before? i'm curious as to what insurance is going to do. i got this car used for 17k before tax 3 months ago with like 6k on down payment, so will insurance only pay us for whats left to owe on the car? ugh, it wont be enough to by another si..

hit his trunk area on his drivers side, everything BEHIND the rear wheel. So i got lucky as did they in terms of what i hit. Couldn't be a softer or less threatning area to hit. my car wasn't gone either but then 2 seconds later an sti hits me from behind and shoves me into the side of the mountain causing my front right wheel to become perpendicular to my other 3. GRR just rotated my two curb rashed rims to the back too ! This was on azusa rode btw, and no i wasn't running hard, so far from when theres little bends and you're goin 40mph

well the insurance will give you fair market value for the car... so start looking on autotrader and find as many si's with low mileage and print them off to show market value

your insurance will only increase at renewal if you were 51% or more AT FAULT

Sorry that it happened, but next time keep this in mind:

GAP insurance is very important. I think I paid my bank like $200, and it would have been one of the best investments you made in the car. If you total your car, and your insurance only gives you say, $15k out of the $20k it's worth, the GAP insurance will cover the rest.

Definitely get it next time.

i could show the pics if some one wants to accept a picture message from my cell and then email it back to me. They arnt that great and only show the front damage because... well the mountains are dark at 2am and only the front of my car had any light. The oother damage was the front right corner that isnt visible.

Anyways PM me a # and i can send you 3 pic messages that you can email back...

Going to do my best to get another 8th, holding a piece of my bumper and type R shift knob only remind me of how great this car is. Already withdrawels of no vtec. its horrible lol

talk to the insurance adjuster, they may have to pay for the set of wheels also. It doesnt sound like its your fault. the other car was in your lane, their fault. then you got rearended by another car, their fault. Hope everything works out and you get a better SI next.
