Try big companies, after they tell you they're not interested, hit up the smaller up and coming ones. You might get a little help.

generally you have to give a company a reason to sponsor you like winning races or competing in car shows.

Most companies don't want to dish out money to someone that doesn't have a proven track record.

Contact small companies and work your way up. Its going to be hard to get larger companies to sponsor you with no past references / track record. Also create a team portfolio with all members information, mods, pictures and start sending them out to companies. You have to remember its going to take money to receive sponsorships, don't think that companies are going to give out free stuff with out you putting in some work. When I first started my previous car club, I started with TWM Performance (sponsor of this site). From their I whored out every car show / car meet I can and promoted their products. By the time our club was settled I worked out deals with TWM, K&N, West Covina Toyota, and smaller local shops / companies. It takes time, patience, and some money but you work hard and it'll pay off.
