why would the cops bother you for having HID's? your improving your drving conditons thus lowers the chances of you getting in a accident involving a ped. or other vech. i have 6000k hid on my Si no problems at all im advice...GET THEM!

i had a p.o. high beam for mine, but, that was it.

it's usually just arseholes that want to complain about them. they're aimed just right, and yet people stare right into them (I've seen em!) and still complain.

8500k.

its called glare.....our housings were not meant for them, but the brighter the HIDS the brighter the glare...i.e. your 8500k thats like blue, 6000k is not too bad has a hint of blue, there is a reason dealers use 4300k, cause its white....

Because HIDS are technically illegal in all 50 states unless they are housed in side of a projecotr lens.

I was highbeamed by a police car, so I high beamed them back. They did not like that to much so they turned around and followed me until I reached a different city. I am postive they ran my plate and followed me for the hell of it.
