Dealers in San Diego Area
Hello. I know there are quite a few threads on this subject, but none of them mention any San Diego Dealers.
Does anyone have any experience with Honda Service Depts in the San Diego Area (Escondido, Poway, Pacific Honda, etc)? Any feedback would be greatly apreciated. Thanks |

I go to Pacific Honda. They are pretty good over there. I mean, none of the dealers here in SD really is outstanding since majority of the tech and service advisor work on commission. If you go to Pacific Honda, look for Jason Macquire or Eddie Robinson. They are very helpful. I've had experience with Tipton Honda in El Cajon, CA with my old civic and they honored things I needed to be repaired under warranty and they never charged me my deductible. I bought my car through them though... Ball Honda in National City, I've only been there for Oil Change and minor maintenance so no real feedback.

ATTENTION ALL 8TH OWNERS IN SAN DIEGO:
Do NOT go to HOEHN HONDA in Carlsbad! They are a HUGE ripoff!!!! (I went to a private mechanic, but he said go to the dealer for the first oil change.) I was quoted $60.00 for my oil change and tire rotation. I thought that was a lot, but decided to do it since the mechanic told me to. After waiting there for 2 hours, my bill is $100!!! $70.00 for the oil change and $30.00 for a freaking tire rotation!!! I will do it myself for 30 bucks!!! Anyways, I complained and showed them the email with the $60 price quote. Long story short, I didn't get a penny out of them. I have also heard (after I went to Hoehn Honda) from several benz owners that Hoehn Mercedes sucks. I would advise against going to any dealership, but if you have to go to one, be sure its not Hoehn!!!! I should have gone to Pacific Honda, but Hoehn was so much closer... I learned my lesson I guess. |

Look for Louie Limson if you want an awesome deal and friend in a dealership. He keeps in touch with you and checks up if you and your car are doing a-ok! Also, I've heard from Honda dealers to avoid Mission Valley Honda. They're known to drive new cars hard to "break it in" and etc. |
