California Speedway Drags 4/7

April 7th (saturday) california speedway is opening up its gates for drags. anyone interested. I usually go to every drag event they have, last time i was there i think most people got 3 or 4 runs. gates open at 7, racing starts at 9 til 4 or 5 i believe. I know i'll be there... what about you? plan to arrive early as they only allow 500 cars in.

How much is it to race? Do you need a helmet?

$20 to race, and helmet only if your faster than 14.0

Finallly a positive of having a 14+ sec car. I'm there. anybody with a civic si want to race, i just have a cai?

I wasnt happy wit the times i've hit at the track, but i guess practice makes perfect, lets just say i wasn't hitting those low 15's. haha

I'm down. Didn't they used to open the strip on Sundays. Guess I've been out of the loop for awhile.

I'm down. I hate the Irwindale track, its only 1/8 mile. If I don't show up, I got dragged to 6 Flags by my wife.

Get there early, only the first 400 cars will be allowed in to race.

I might actually make it for a change, since my wife will be taking our daughter Easter egg hunting tomorrow morning.

What time is everyone going to be there tomorrow? the gates open at 6am. Do people start lining up before that?
