There has never been an issue about glaring on the official retrofit thread
This is the first time I hear of this

That where I read it at. a guy was saying the mini projectors and shrouds dont close up all the way and if not painted will cause glare, I think its more of it will light the hole housing up making the projector not as noticeable thing myself.

But I just went to the TRS website and they say you can paint if you like but its not required, I am thinking most people do it to make the projector stand out.

Are you going to bring the hole car or just the lights over? if your going to bring the car I have all the tools here you will need, you will pull your bumper and take the lights out, I will take them apart and you will paint them, then I will make the rest happen and when I have the lights done you can put them back in the car and put your bumper back on.

Does this sound good to you?

Honestly I'm a terrible mechanic :/ I've never really done anything like that tbh. Honestly if its a money thing I rather just shoot you some cash than do it myself. Don't trust myself one bit hahah

Painting them makes em look like lights off of eBay, not all the time
But it could have that effect
I just like clean OEM and Factory appeal

Like black looks good on darker color cars like the black and possibly silver and blues

I don't like the black on white but that's just me

Don't get me wrong man! If you want me to help you out with something I could definitely do it. That's not a problem hahahhahah. But if you're like yeah imma finish my lunch go take those headlights out I'm screwed lmao. And we'll go for OEM look :]

Ok, well I will handle all of it but the bumper, that's your dept. you put an intercooler on so you have to know how to pull the bumper off.
