Hit and Run...

Long story short, I came out of work and saw this. I filed a police report and but I haven't contacted my insurance because I'm not even sure if it's worth it so I'm debating if I should just pay out of my pocket. If so, what are some good body shops around Socal? Still new to the area so I'm not sure what's good around here. I'm willing to drive up to 40 miles outside of Westwood LA for a reputable shop.

sorry to hear about the hit and run. the crazy thing is that's exactly the same spot that someone hit me when i got a hit and run myself. i went through insurance and got it fixed. i would suggest just getting quotes on the repair and go from there.

Awful. In the worst spot. They could have been more generous and hit you 6 inches forward so you only would have had to replace the door. Good luck man.

took mine to a paintless dent remover and they charged 180 so i'd keep insurance out of it, just shop around and you'll find a good deal, sorry about what happend but i feel ya... no respect for the hondas out there

that's very unfortunate. I might have the hooks up for a garage in Cerritos; I haven't been there in a while but they remember me. If interested, Cerritos Auto Repair, 16649 Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, (562) 402-9090 . Ask for James.

IMO, it doesn't look like that bad. If it doesn't have any creases, then most likely you can get it fixed at a paintless dent removal place for less than what your deductible is.

EDIT: I just noticed that there is a natural structural ridge to the metal. I don't know if that will leave a crease after getting it fixed.
