When you remove your badges, use some polish to even any uneveness in the area and then wax it. Doubt your car will have any oxidation since it's fairly new. What you're probably seeing is some wax.

sup guys, n e one know % shades for tint? i want 35%, thats the one thats pretty dark right? or can some one direct me to a site that shows a preview of what % of tint will look on a car.

The higher the number the lighter the tint... So if you want dark, try 20%...
