it won't do too much in terms of bringing in fresh air and reducing heatsoak, but I'd like to come up with a way to enclose the filter to get it to work a little bit better.

Did you see the heat shield that X did? I was thinking of doing that just don't know how. BTW, are you free during the night around 7 just in case I need help with install. Depending on when I get the intake.

nope, haven't seen the headshield he made, but I had initially thought that it was just the CRV intake box modified for the MAF and to take the Apexi filter.

I'm free pretty much most nights except Mondays since I play ball those nights. Just give me a heads up and I'll let my girl know that I'll be busy helping you with the install.

I saw somewhere that he did one using like a sheet metal or something. Not really sure in the material.

I'm just waiting for corsports email for the tracking number. They said that it shipped out yesterday but I'm not sure if it did. And if they shipped out yesterday I think from Fujita direct, I might get it today or tom since they are only in Murrieta, CA.

on a side note, saw a tw fg2 in chula vista by broadway and e. gave you a peace sign and you just looked at me like "wtf, who are you?"

Oh ok. Fujita called me and told me that the intake did not ship yesterday and will ship today or tom so I guess I wont be receiving it til about thursday or friday.
