yesterday when i was driving on johnson, my V1 alerts me to a full strength radar signal. then the signal disappeared.. i'm thinking cop, turns out i was right. one bike cop hiding, then another one headed in the opposite direction. as i get closer to lynbrook, there's a cop hiding in the bushes and another cop across the street. wtf right? i make sure to stop for 3 seconds at the stop sign, but while i'm counting, i hear the bike in the bushes start up. i'm thinking "oh sh!t"

sure enough, he pulls me over.. for no front plate. fine, i'll bite the bullet. it had to come some day.

a few hours later, i'm driving to pick up a buddy for a bday party. i'm on de anza & 85 now. i wasn't driving super hard or anything, shifting at 5K. apparently my car's too loud at 5K (you will see/hear at dyno), because as i'm chilling at the light i see this cop a block away. he gets behind me and turns on the christmas tree lights.. i pull over onto a small side street, and put my hands on the wheel. he tells me that my exhaust is too loud, and i tell him it's the OEM tip. he goes "what's OEM?" lol, probably thought it was an exhaust brand. i explained it was factory. he said there's no way it's that loud from the factory and proceeded to get my papers. he was gonna write me up for my front plate as well, but i showed him the ticket i just got. luckily, he let me off on both plate and exhaust. i love my stock tip and exhaust, it's actually making me money..

now, this is the part that strikes me funny. i think the exhaust cop was just picking on me. why? after he pulls me over, he and his partner switch sides as they come up to my car. makes me think that this was a training exercise or something.. then, as i'm leaving, i hear them laughing. wtf do they have to laugh about?

i do admire cops for having difficult and dangerous jobs, but that image seems really tarnished.. it seems like most of the time, cops just pull people over for no reason. what happened to keeping the streets safe (maybe i'm taking it for granted that my area is pretty safe?)? it seems like the cops that pulled me over had nothing better to do.. especially the exhaust cop..

good thing i don't have tint, and that he didn't pop my hood.. yes, it was a long day yesterday..

That sucks, was the first cop at the rainbow park? I freaking hate cupertino sherifs... such PITAS. I bought the passwordjdm offset license plate mount just because of this!

I've had the same annoying problems with cops, I've been pulled over 4 times in the past year and a half for literally nothing...the officer told me my license plate came up as non-existant when he put it in his computer...he asked me a few questions, guessing to see if i was drunk, then went back to his car, came back a minute later and said,"Hm...went through fine this time, sorry about that"

he was parked right in front of lynbrook under the trees.. so ***.. and it was a san jose cop! i thought they were supposed to be more cool..

lol nice man glad slid by. haha the daly city cops did the same shit to me. but he stoppe me right in front of the honda serramonte dealer for having a to loud exhaust. so i asked him to follow me into the dealer to prove i had a completely stock car.

i got hella lucky.. my exhaust actually makes me money every time a cop doesn't ticket me because of a fat can. it's made me more money than my V1 LOL!

i need to go zip tie my front plate on.. now the only problem is that i have a hole in my left fog light area.. i used to have a DIY intake, since then i've swapped to a CAI.. if a cop sees that, crap.. i hope he doesn't make a big deal about it ><
