Angry Ticket Like Ryan

Man.. i got my first ticket.. i was driving home from work going towards vallejo from fairfield.. i seen him merge in from somewhere back... i decide to stay 70.. cars passing me doing 75-80.. he finally catches up to me and looks in the rear view at me.. sees my license plate up on the right hand corner like blurocket... and slows down and gets behind me... checked my engine.. saw my injen intake.. no sticker on it yet... and then checks my exhaust... not that loud.. and so he tells me that i need to have a sticker for the intake and i tell him about it being CARB pending.. and gives me a freakin ticket...... so i am in the same boat as ryan.. i got a fix it for the license plate and a stupid intake something ticket.. is there something i could do about my intake... its on a 03 civic ex, auto... and will it go on my driving record... im so pissed its ridiculous.. any help would be wonderful

Only moving violations go on your record. So you are in the clear for that.

Yep, fix it tickets doesn't count towards record, only moving violations. Throw stock box on, throw on plate, get it signed off, send it in with $10 and your good to go. Like nothing ever happened.

About the intake, like Ant said... put on the stock box and you'll have to get it smoged. The plate just put it back on and get it signed off

I used to drive up 80 every weekend to play golf. Now, I'm getting a little nervous to drive up there. I have a front plate and no tint, but it seems that law enforcement up there is getting petty.

Just make sure you remember to come to a complete stop at the stop signs and you should be good to go...

damn that sucks. just do what everyone else was sayin and get it signed off. but it seems like cops around fairfield and vallejo are pulling over everyone.

i was goin around 80 driving back to sacramento from fairfield this morning and i saw a motorcycle cop under an overpass with the speed gun. i got hella nervous when i saw him but he didnt even flinch. phew.

NO! Don't do it! We might lose our front plates in the process and you know what that means.

As I said in an earlier thread, have a feeling the past week was quota fulfillment week, as I saw so many cops out.

On another note, you can't have your front plate on the corner? I actually like my plate front and center, as it'll protect ppl dinging my bumper haha.
