Ok, Just got home from a long day. Here's the story:

Just got done paying toll at the carquinez bridge, I'm driving normal minding my own bussiness when I see a CHP at the shoulder chillin. I didnt think anything of it bc I wasn't doing anything wrong, until he starts to follow me as I pass him. I get nervous bc my car is a cop magnet for some reason. Anyways he's behind me for a while then he decides to pass me, phew! But no... he doesn't pass me he's pacing with me right at my driver side quarter panel window, my brother tells me," Kuya he's lookin at you". Then after he says that, he f ucken pulls behind me and turns on the lights. I pull over......

Cop: You know you're not supposed to have your front windows tinted..
Me: Yeah
-He checks the front of the car-
Cop: You dont have a front plate...
Me: Ok
Cop: Pop you're hood...

I'm stock performance wise except a K&N drop in and a voltage stabilizer.

Cop: What are those things right there...
Me: Reservoir covers (spoon socks)
Cop: Whats that, do you have a carb sticker for that (my voltage stabilizer)
Me: Officer, that has nothing to do with emmisions its hooked up to the battery.
Cop:I know my job, anything you do to the engine is modifying it and it needs a sticker. Do you have one for the exhaust??
Me: Its stock. We can go to the Honda dealer right now and ask them.

Basically, the cop gives me a ticket for my tints,no front plate, my stock exhaust, and voltage stabilizer. 2 fix it's and the voltage stabilizer and stock exhaust I have to get it ref'd.

Never been to the state ref in my life. Anything I need to worry about, expecially for the voltage stabilizer? What do they exactly do to the car? Do I need to put back my intake resonator( I removed it).

Can anyone help me out with the fix it tickets.

The battery stabilzer just gives your car better ground, nothing to worry about. the Spoon socks, difinitely have nothing to worry about. Stock exhaust, definately have nothing to worry about, came like that from the dealer. The CHP that pulled you over is a F*CKIN IDIOT, I would of said that straight to his face. Don't worry about the ref bro. Just like how I told the last cop,"F*CK YOU! Don't you ever call me a liar again!" I still got let go, funny as hell. LMAO I was sleepy, tired and in a bad mood. Not recommeneded to do that.

it takes 10 minutes for them to sign off. I wouldnt even put the resonator back on. If they say something about it, then you have to.

Take pictures of your car TODAY(or tomorow) and make sure that a legitimate date is visible, just so you can prove that you did not modify anything later on.

I had the same thing going for me some time back, same thing but the cop told me he was trained in illegal performance stuff, then he tells me that my SPOON Reservoir covers are illegal, I turned to him and I told him I was in training to be a Deputy Sheriff and that his training for illegal performance parts was not given to him properly. Long story short he let me go. The funny thing is that I have DC race headers and a Apex N1, Injen CAI and its loud as hell, but all he saw was the Spoon covers, (Some training). Go to ref. then go to court ask to see a judge and make him look like the dumb ass that he is. Am going to be a cop soon and ill try to school those old men in the new stuff of today. Ill never pull over some one for some dumb shit, those old school cops that don’t know shit. (That chipy is a fool.)

I think other Si's are getting pulled over because of our exhuasts, maybe bc cops are ignorant and think anything shiny is modified exhaust?? That CHP was joke.

Well it’s like this. Allot of people have died because of illegal racing, so since they are improperly trained they think every one that fixes their cars up are racers. One of the funny things is that some of the same cops have fast ass cars sitting at home. Not all cops are dicks.

Hey if it is the same cop you should go together a make a complaint. Two complaints at the same time to the same cop are not good. It can make him think twice about pulling cars like yours over.
