Official Dyno Day meet May 24, Prostreet Motorsports in Hayward

This is the official thread for the dyno day coming up. All information will be presented here.

MOST IMPORTANT IS IN RED

My Contact Info. :AOL Instant Messenger : lousilence13b 510-552-8229 = Jeremy
My Contact Info. :AOL Instant Messenger : dwn4nythng = Anthony

Date : May 24, 2008

Time :
Arrival and dyno - 10am (come early if you can to prep or whatever)
Lunch
- 12pm to 1pm
Ends
- whenever we're done

Place : Prostreet Motorsports Pro Street Motorsports - Hayward, CA

Address : 25711 Dollar Street, Hayward CA

Whats going to happen?! : We're going to dyno and just shoot the best of our shits of course! Along with free food and drinks for lunch. There will be a trophy for the highest HP car. A raffle will be drawn with prizes. And a goody bag for every person that dynos.

Sponsors:
Blox Racing - License plate frames, velocity stack air filter kit, shift knobs, rear sway bar kit for the Si.
Helix Stickers - decals and license plate frames
WeaponR - Ground stabilization unit, etc.

Preparation: Please come early if you can. I can't stress that enough. Having 15+ people filling out a form for the dyno at the same time is nothing but time wasted. Especially if you have the mindset of "oh yeah I have to (insert thing you need to do here), I'll do it when I get there". Come early and get things done so you're ready on time. Also, at the last meet... MANY people got the impression that the whole dyno process was slow and took long which made some people impatient. Reason being is the spark plug cover. The RPM pick up is attached to the signal wire on the coil. With the cowl assembly on, it makes it pretty tight spot to get to the nuts in the back. And since 100% of you will want your motor warmed up before you dyno, 99.999999999% of the engine bays will be hot which makes things even harder. PLEASE REMOVE THIS SPARK PLUG COVER AT HOME. You do not have to remove the cowl assembly. If you arrive at the meet with your cover on that's fine, I'll be there with a 10mm, long sleeve shirt and gloves waiting for you to pop your hood.

To dyno: Prices are $35 for a set of 3 pulls in 3rd and 4th gear(I.E. 3rd, 4th, 4th). It will be $15 for every extra pull you want to do. But you should be well satisfied after 3. Keep in mind, these prices include the choice of using a wideband commander OR a sniffer for a/f. This is a plus compared to the last dyno day. They charged extra for the wideband and we had the sniffer for free. This time, you have either choice.

Dyno Order: This is how the format will go.
First - Reserved spots for 8thgens
Second - Reserved spots for non-8thgens
Third - Paid on arrival 8thgens
Fourth - Paid on arrival non-8thgens.
Another reason to pay ahead, make a deposit and reserve your spot! I'm telling you, you're gonna regret not doing it!

Hold your spot: The shop requires a deposit for those who want to dyno. This basically guarantees a good outcome on their side. This will ALSO put you ahead of those who pay when they arrive. Even if you come late and people that have payed upon arrival are in front, you will get put in front of them as you have a reserved spot. We have 22 people so far that want to dyno but it's definitely questionable to who is really wanting to dyno. A deposit will guarantee you AND the shop that you have a spot. Minimum deposit is $10 or you can just pay the full $35 amount ahead of time. I will be handling their financial side for the forum. You can either paypal me the money or just give it to me at a mini-meet or the big meet at Paradise Park. 75% of you guys know me so you know you're money is safe. It will be transferred over to Prostreet the day of the meet.

Paypal Addy: JBelt32000@yahoo.com Let me know when you send money!)

I know you're good for it but I'd still prefer a deposit. Reason being just for them to know that something is really going to happen. Doing a deposit also makes more people come because they gotta come once they deposit lol. Just kidding guys, if you deposit and then find out you have something to do.. .I'll refund your money.

Please take this whole deposit thing seriously guys, the only reason there's no one from the shop on here doing the whole deposit part is because I volunteered to take over since they're pretty busy already. Ways to pay are either paypal(address is up top) or giving me the money at the next meet you see me at.
