April 19, 2008 Mini-Meet Milpitas Gun Shooting Range

Me, Ant, Harry#2 and Ant #2 were talking about going to the shooting range in Milpitas next next weekend. We figure it'd be an interesting mini meet.

Date : April 19, 2008

Time : 9:00pm - whenever (but they close at midnight)

Place :Target Masters West in Milpitas behind their police station. Home

Address : to be determined

Plan : Meet at the spot. Be on time. When you arrive you'll have to fill out a rental slip for the lane and an information slip for the rental of the gun along with your firing partner filling out info for themselves too. It's not alot just basic info... but it's still time wasted if you decide to come late and everyone is shooting already. After we shoot we'll most likely go get something to eat. Since it's late, most likely denny's or....PHO

Basically to rent a gun you will need to be over 21. And yes you can be under the age of 18 to fire the gun. You will rent eyewear, ear muffs, purchase a paper target, rent a handgun and pay for bullets. Those of you that have your own guns will need to bring proof of ownership. If you DO rent, you cannot bring outside ammo to refill their clips in their guns. You use their guns... you use their ammo. If you bring you own gun you can use whatever ammo you bring.

Add me up. Pho FTW! If you want to rent a gun, you must be 18 to rent a shotgun and 21 to rent a handgun. People who bring their own handguns can let people that are 18 shoot it. I never brought proof of ownership unless the rules has changed. I STRESS, safety must be used at all times. Wouldn't want someone messing around pointing the gun everywhere, then shoot out someone's eye by accident. Its all fun and games til someone loses an eye!

I really think.... if someone were shot in the distance of being in the same tiny room, they'd lose more than an eye =(.

proly like 700 with the grips? took it to a gun store in stockton that a buddy in the military uses to sell it and wanted it back but they want 25 bucks since they already unregistered it from my name.

Shit is kind of annoying so I changed the price on the gun and I'd rather sell it to a freind or somone I can walk into the store with so they dont get commission off of it and I don't have to pay 25 bucks for nothing.

thing is about 1100 to 1200 with tax and ca fees and all that when new, still new I just bought way too many guns too fast.

let me know and spread the word, just tryin to get something out of it so I can get some more si stuff or help pay for the academy this summer.

should have never sold my magnum though I wanted her to try it.

Harry you can start off with a 9mm. It's a real light gun and its like a pellet gun on steroids haha.

If you mean legally by you have a felony or something. They don't do background checks but if you are really honest there's a question in the form you fill out asking if you are permitted by law to not operate a hand gun. What are you 17?

No, I'm 21 but when I was 17 I ran into some trouble and the government sent me a letter saying I have a 5 years federal prohibition on guns and a letter to appeal it. I threw the appeal letter away back then because there was talk of bringing back the draft and I said **** that.
