Motor arrives on friday... when I get it home I'm gonna hook my tranny up to it and do a compression test. If all goes well, then I tear everything apart execpt for the short block part and remove the oil pan. I'll check the tolerances and see if they're within spec and if they are I'll be doing all the crap that needs to be done for the conversion. Then by Saturday if all is going as planned, I'll be putting everything reassembling everything and getting it ready to go back in. Then if everything is still going according, I'll be putting the motor in Sunday. But I've given myself a good week to do everything because knowing Murphy's law... anything can happen.

OHHH... and I'm supposed to be putting in Harry's cutout either on Saturday or Sunday so that might take a day away =/.

FINALLY

I cant wait to see how it turns out. hope it all goes well!

on a side note, have you considered direct port nitrous injection? i've been thinking about it. i'll have the new clutch/flywheel installed in about a few weeks so hopefully i figure out my rattling. then its major mod time for this summer. header/spacers/catback/suspension and whenever ipro or whatever it is they're making comes out, i'll buy cams. with all that, i've been considering direct port injection for nitrous so i'll know fuel and nitrous will be hitting every cylinder in an even amount. i know jnaut did it so i'll probably look into it by end of may or june.

i went through a whole phase of considering turbo or supercharger but since i love n/a so much, a nice nitrous system for a burst of power when i want it will be enough for me and in the mean time, i get to enjoy n/a. if a piston goes out on me, i'll look into 12:1 compression and if the block takes a dump on me, k24a2 ftmfw

Yeah... you if you guys made a thread... it'd blow up haha. But damn... it sounds like this trip is getting more and more serious =X. But I have some news, I won't have the motor running by Sunday. I wasn't able to get all my parts to arrive by the weekend, so due to lag of delivery the motor probably wont be running till mid next-week. This weekend will mainly consist of stripping the k24 down and transferring everything.

LOL... you guys need to stop the madness. You won't be able to get here in time anyway HA! But it's funny and appreciated how you guys are somewhat willing to come down and chill/help out.

Update: The motor has arrived. Dissassembly will commence tonight when I get home from work.
