I think it's time to go check this road out. Harry drove on the one route that was one lane. But I don't think he saw the two lane one. Ant... another time to go scouting? We can take my Em2 this time or my integra. Since you drove last time and we most likely don't be driving too hard on this road my parent's daily drivers will suffice =).

If you start in Bolinas, the road is one-way for quite a while and it does eventually turn into a two-lane road. I'm almost positive it's a two-laner where Ridgecrest Blvd meets Faifax Bolinas Road.

Yeah, go check it out! You'll have lots of fun. If you go during the weekday, there'll be almost no one on the road. You might have an opportunity to test out your mad dorifto skillz.

The thing that concerns me about this road, its a one road, we have new people that may sign up, may not have the experience with these driving conditions. Last thing I would want to see is anyone going head on with another car, especially if its a big, @ss GMC truck.

Yeah, there's a big grassy field where the group can get a 5vs5, 10vs10 football game if they wanted to.

Anyhow, if we start up to Mt. Tam via Panoramic Hwy, and then meet up with Fairfax Bolinas Rd, that should all be two-lane stuff and paved. That'd be a lot safer for passing cyclists and all. There will be some points along the road that will get really tight. I don't want anyone speeding...the road gets really wet in the shade and it's hard to see so if you're carrying too much speed, you will spin out.

Anyway, here's the revised route.
from:Unknown road @37.894910, -122.637830 to:37.897072,-122.616005 to:E Ridgecrest Blvd @37.927317, -122.580509 to:Fairfax Bolinas Rd @37.963543, -122.631907 to:Center Blvd @37.985854, -122.582878 - Google Maps

Lots of scenic stuff along this route, so take plenty of breaks and pics.

Check out the updated route. It should all be two way. I don't know how far you went on your scouting trip. My guess is that you didn't get far enough.

Of course, if it gets tight, narrow, or damp...SLOW DOWN! Give yourself plenty of space between you and the car ahead of you. DO NOT drive beyond your abilities. This is NOT the time to try out that e-brake slide. Common sense, stuff.

i only drove on that section of fairfax-bolinas n it was one lane. when i got to destination B i saw it split into 2 lane but in my opinion it was still too narrow. n i was so frustrated from driving on that first section i decided to turn off n head out to panoramic.

Yeah Harry didn't go on the two-lane road. I'll try to scout it out during the weekend. Harry's road isn't that wide either and it had a few spots where understeer would introduce itself to many people but it IS better than a one-lane road. I will update after I go check the road out.

Masi, are you the black coupe with the HFP kit, yellow fogs and I don't want to say chameleon but... somewhat black chameleon wheels? And from the looks of it you came with your brother or something. Is that you?
