Are we talking about the road TO Stinston Beach? If so I didn't mean for that road to actually be the cruise road. I only meant to give a vague description to have people that never been to the beach an idea of what they'd be seeing on the journey there. I've done alot of stupid things in life and one of them includes having my left front wheel hang off the edge of a cliff from trying to make a sharp right and hitting a lump of dirt understeering me a way I didn't want to go. I know better than to be driving hard on a road like that during the hours we'll be there. Especially being FWD and having stock suspension all around.

no, the road to going into stinson is easy enough. i was suggesting panoramic hwy, which is curvy, has a few short straights n wide enough, highway 1 is a 2 lane that's a lil narrower but should be ok. i just don't like the idea of having to share a single lane with bicyclist n on-coming traffic which i encountered driving up the way u suggested. even had one biker flip me the bird as a i came around a corner, thought i was gonna hit her cause i turned in wide. stupid lady...

Huuhhhhh... I don't think I suggested any roads for this meet did I? Only thing I remember was saying Warren's road was kool because it wasn't far from the meet spot. Bah I'm too lazy to look back. I'm kool with any road as long as we're a long as line of 8thcivics. That's the kool part =). Haha as for the bird flipping, we had a few of those in the previous cruises. I know icrashed and crazi3 are with me on this one lol.

I know about the bird flipping also. Santa Cruz meet, lady cuts in front of me, cutting me off of the line of Civic's, I honk, she flips me the bird, started cussing at her, we thinking about giving her a five finger across the face, lmao.

That happenned at the San Leandro meet... some old car I forgot. I ended up going aroung them on a straight away and then brake checking the shit out of them forcing them to pull over. I stayed in front of the car until everyone got around. It wasn't fun after that though because I wasn't in the front no more =(. But a sacrafice for the fellas it was...

i think the road of fine, even for the new people, but just try not to speed... that much.... i don't know how serious you guys take this when i'm usually the reckless driver/speeder. but i'm changing that, slowly but surely.

We gotta do more scouting.

The one Harry-2 showed us, we saw a sign that said "Share the road." The one lane road would have a sign saying,"MUST share the road", lol

Yup, one way, narrow, no guard rails...my kind of road.

Anyhow, if we start up to Mt. Tam via Panoramic Hwy, and then meet up with Fairfax Bolinas Rd, that should all be two-lane stuff and paved. That'd be a lot safer for passing cyclists and all. There will be some points along the road that will get really tight. I don't want anyone speeding...the road gets really wet in the shade and it's hard to see so if you're carrying too much speed, you will spin out.

Anyway, here's the revised route.
from:Unknown road @37.894910, -122.637830 to:37.897072,-122.616005 to:E Ridgecrest Blvd @37.927317, -122.580509 to:Fairfax Bolinas Rd @37.963543, -122.631907 to:Center Blvd @37.985854, -122.582878 - Google Maps

Lots of scenic stuff along this route, so take plenty of breaks and pics.
