If anyone is willing to drive out a little farther, there's this japanese buffet called Mizu and there's a big parking lot and the resterant is huge, there's a short wait but it hlla worth it......must I say...but I think its way better then the one in davis. But too bad it in roseville. But if anyone wants to make that extra drive then that'll be the place .

Just by looking at the map that Jerome gave, it looks like there's alot of diagonal parking. If we all get there early enough, we should be able to take up all the parking. By the looks of the map, one street holds about 20 cars (both sides)

That could be another option, but isn't Roseville like and extra 30 mins from Davis? Regardless, I'm down for whatever and what majority wants.

Just a suggestion

Hi, I would like to suggest if maybe we can meet somewhere in between. I'm just thinking of those guys coming from San Jose, Salinas and san luis obispo. I don't have a problem driving because it's not that far from where I live but it's a bit far for those guys. To meet halfway is i think fair and convenient. -- elms

I know it's far for you central valley/central coast guys. However, of the last three meets, one was in SLO and another was in Monterey. We gotta switch it up and accommodate the Sac folks as well. Some people have come as far away as Eureka (a 5 hour drive to the Bay Area) to meet with us. Anyway, with the meets happening about once a month, it won't be too long before we find a place that's a more suitable drive for you.

In the mean time, try to think of some places we can meet. Salinas? Gilroy? Fresno? UC Merced? Manteca (are the water slides still there?)? Morro Bay? King City (there are some great roads that run from King City to about Paso Robles)? What are we gonna do there? BBQ? Fishing? Football?
