Bay Area Tuner Shops...

I'm curious as to what's out there in terms of performance shops with a specialty in Honda Tuning. The only one I know of is Opak racing down in San Bruno, but I'd like to familiarize myself with more.

Anyone know any good shops with good people?

OPAK has very few techs. The BEST place is blacktrax.net in milpitas. I lived in palo alto and used to go there all the time, worth the drive!

Yup Blacktrax did my motor & (auto-manual) tranny swap for my 97 civic. I just got some baseline pulls done this past Friday at Blacktrax with my FG2. Ask for Aki or Jae, they are very experienced and helpful!

Jae and Aki are rediculous. Those two are the real deal, it comes as no surprise that there is over a 30 day wait period to have them do motor work on your car....

AZN overcharges up the frickin' ying-yang man. I haven't done much business with Enzo but I heard they are okay.

Modacar in Livermore seems like a pretty full service shop...although I have no personal experience with them.

Hey, thanks for all the recommendations everyone.

Yeah, I'm just looking for some good import houses that either tune or distribute Honda/Acura etc. after market parts.
