LG 26" LED-LCD HDTV - Walmart.com
Pretty good contrast ratio, but still 60Hz refresh rate, below average now. |

lol, my friends and I are trying to outdo each other. After I did that 34 miles, and the 50 mile ride, my friends did 63 miles. Now I'm going to try to outdo that one of these days. We're also planning on another long ride as well as a group.

Yes that's the reason I'm buying the TV..... We've got 1 main TV which is in the living room. The other TV is bleh, sucks. So I only play on the main TV which is a 60 something inch Sony Bravia
Still a bit too big to play on, I want something around ~36" since that's optimum performance for the PS3.

So, I almost got rear ended today.
I was heading back to work from lunch and I was stopped behind traffic. While I sit waiting I'm always looking around and constantly watching my rear view mirror. Well, I was watching how fast this huge SUV was coming up from behind me when all of a sudden the SUV squeeels her brakes to a stop. She was without a doubt a few inches from hitting me. I was heated. I didn't say anything or throw gestures at her but just glaring at the old lady thru the side mirror and she had the audacity to pop her head out the window smiling and waving at me. Got damn elderly drivers piss me off the most. She was atleast 60-65 years old. End rant. |

Damn 7-8 miles is no joke! I could run 3-4 miles non-stop during baseball. We use to run 8-10 miles a day minimum for conditioning. We would run 3-4 miles for warm up and end it with a 2-3 mile run on the bleachers [going up and down the stairs]. In between runs we would go into the weight room and hit the weight and do ab workouts and shiiiiiiiiiiiet. Lol I lost ~40 lbs in 3 months
I've now gained that back + some!

Wtf? I hate Fry's product description. Freakin' inconsistent. I can't find the refresh rates in most of the descriptions. Anywho, can't really tell a difference between 1080p and 720p unless you're watching a Blu-Ray movie (and even then, it's minute). Contrast ratio, higher the better, but their specs could be BS. The thing to look at, imo, is the refresh rate. Don't settle for anything lower than 120Hz. I would go to Best Buy, Fry's, or Costco and physically check out the TV's and see how you like it. I've seen some with high contrast levels, but the colors sucked, and vice-versa. Once you find a TV you like, look for it online for a cheaper price.
