MAN, I gotta get coilovers like yesterday!! I got the Si springs on and the stock arms back on, and I've raised up about an inch. 4WD baby!!! I was sittin pretty good with the EX springs, but I can tell a difference in the ride already. It is stiffer for sure.

Johnny how many miles did you say you had on these things? Any chance they just need to settle a little or is it just where it's gonna be? I'm just gonna have to live with it I guess. I don't wanna change em again until I get the coilovers. Sigh!

And I have to agree with you about the shaved ice. In Japan where I grew up, the "snowcones" were always finely shaved ice like powder snow. My mom made me try the sweet milk shaved ice and I loved it.

Yeah, Dot's Inn. Don't forget Like Like Drive-Inn, Hungry Lion Cafe, Mickey's in Pearl City, Grace's Inn, and all the plate lunch trucks driving around town during kau kau lunch time.

Beavis, say I got just about a grand to spend on a decent SLR with at least one lense what would you recommend? Canon T1i? With the 18-55 lense? Man so many choice I need some direction....

I'd suggest Canon, ...a little more robust than Nikon. As for picture quality, both are about as even as they've always been. Which ever you go with, stick with it as the lenses will always go along with the upgraded body's as time goes on. Keep in mind, at these levels, the lenses make or break the final picture. No matter how good the imaging sensor is, if it isn't getting a good image through the lens, it ain't worth jack diddly squat.

18-55mm lens is a decent start, ...but only if you plan on taking nearby shots.

Also Shawn, ...why not go for the flagship T2i? It'll still be within your budget of under a grand. Better image sensor, better exposure control, and so on.

Omg, all this camera talk got me going now. If I wasn't married, it would be an EOS 5D body with an EF 24-105mm f/4L IS lens, ...tomorrow.

Heck I'd be happy with that T2i, ...with that lens I just mentioned.

T2i is comparable to the 7D in terms of sensor. Also takes 1080p HD video at around 60FPS. I don't like how the buttons are though but that's my opinion. For beginners the XSi T1i/T2i is great, or you can be special and get the Jackie Chan edition TSi (Canon Busts Out Jackie Chan Edition DSLR for the Chinese Market) haha. If I had a grand to spend on a DSLR I'd get the 50D it cost a bit more than $1k but the Rebel Series is a little small, specially when the nifty fifty is mounted haha, but that's nothing a BG-E5 can't fix.

Ok I have to pose the question, only cause I was just reading a little on it and I don't know anything about cameras so I'm switching the subject. What would the round about cost of a turbo for the R18 cost, or where can I go to find out? Is anyone specific carrying them? Stupid question?
