Did you set a court date? If not you should for small claims court. The other guy it'd be a bigger deal since it's over $3k. Yeah it'd cost $75 or whatever it is, but you can also request/claim 10% in back interest. If it's shown to have been an intentional scam he's more legally obligated to pay it back too.

I assume most of these are old, though he's changed his name by one letter and opened up a new shop somewhere. I thought you guys would get a kick out of the response my collection agency sent me about him: 'Jennifer: Wow, this puke has created a whole new dimension for the word "thievery" and probably all by himself!'
LOL! |

Mis-stated
Sorry, I meant a lot of the actual incidents are old. PPL are coming out of the woodwork finally and speaking up about the fact that they've been robbed by this creep. Many of the newer posts I've seen are referencing stuff that's over a year old, Mine is going on 2 years old now.
The creep did change his name by 1 letter (Ravi Shukla vs. Ravi Shuka) and open up a new shop somewhere, and he's done some biz out of his house it seems too. i'd like to see him in jail now, but I'd like to figure out how to get everyone who got screwed by him paid first

^ We actually located his house. No idea if he still lives there, but we had it once upon a time.

Yeah, that house is owned by someone else, we think it's probably his parents based on claims I"ve seen in other forums about how they just keep bailing his ass out of all the trouble he gets into step by step.
This is from the Sonoma County assessor's office: The property located at 1771 Windrose Court, Santa Rosa, CA is owned by Parveen & Renu Shukla, most probably his parents, and it was purchased on January 23, 2003. He's got a shop on Coffee lane right now. |

well, we can't get any MONEY from his parents. Since they own the house we can't take a lien out against the house. After reading around for the last year or so, it appears they just throw some more money at him when things get really bad, bail him out of jail, or whatever.

I believe that house is where he lives, just that his parents own it. I don't know if he lives with them, or not.
New business under the same name, though he's also posted ads in assorted places under Enduro Autowerx: Bay Area, Auto Mechanic - Sulekha coffeehouse Forums AFAIK, the place on coffee lane is his current place of business, though I have also seen ads for this place, too: 468 Yolanda Ave Suite 305, Santa Rosa, California (CA), 95404 |
