Question stupid header question

im lookin into the DCRH and keeping the rest of my stock exhaust. When i remove the current exhaust manifold for the DCRH, will i still have my stock cat? If not, can i just buy a HFC and bolt that on with the header? i just dont want to have to mod my o2 sensor unless i have to, and i still want to pass emissions...

thanks!
Michael

the header should have the bung for the defowler.

U wont pass smog without a cat anywhere, unless u do it illegally.

But!!!, u shouldnt have to smog ur car for a while, so my suggestion would be do it, and worry about smog when that time comes. I know here in Cali, we have 6 years til we have to smog a new car.

Technically the vibrant HFC is illegal, but you might pass emissions.

LMFAO! The cat is the only thing that basically does the job! Get rid of that and you got instant performance!

i dont have any personal experience with this yet but some will tell you that it is not recommended to run a header with the stock exhaust. This is why i am waiting to get an exhaust to put my header on...
