p2r TBS port not quite drilled?

so i received my tbs this evening and it appears that the port that you would normally plug up is only half drilled through. anyone elses like that? also i did not receive a plug... is this safe to install?

you NEED that plug

and it's not supposed to screw all the way in..

Mine doesn't look drilled all the way and I didn't use the plug. Runs fine.

mine came that way as well however i received the plug BUT, ive been informaed that its supposed to be that way until you actually run NOS through it or something then you drill the hole out urself. the plug isnt needed until you finish the drill job and dont have anything in the hole.

i had the same question about my tbs, so i emailed the guys at p2r and they said..
"You actually do not need to install the plug on your spacer if you just got it. We are no longer drilling all the way through on the spacers. We only start the hole now."
However, on my install the guy forgot to take out the old stock gasket....could this create any problems?

Doubt it. You could follow my install and get it off it really bugs you.

P2R spacer and gaskets install

o0o0o0o0h I thought your hole was drilled half way but went all the way thru. I think you should still plug it though
