green drop in filter

nebody using green drop in air filters?

Green will actually reduce your horsepower. You're better off going with red or chrome.

If I'm not mistaken, dynos on here have shown that stock piping is the bottleneck for the stock intake system, not the restrictiveness of the stock air filter.

Stock piping might be part of it. the other issue is the total surface area of the filter itself, which is a problem an aftermarket drop-in doesn't fix. they do help, though.

i good friend of mine that was in the Navy told me that the reason why K&N is as big as they are is because the military used them in the desert storm war on the helicopters

if its good enough for the US military its good enough for me

The dimensions may be the same as the SVT, but what about fitment, has anybody got any info on this? I mean, there's a tab that fits down in the top right corner of our airbox, not to mention the seal...?
