Exclamation Skunk 2 camshafts make ya wana go vtac!!!! sk2 ftw ?

i looked them up on skunk2 site and the search results showed me k20a2 results are these rsx type s motor cams ? and do i need exhaust cam gear and intake cam gear or just exhaust ?

would these cams be alright with nitrous ? anyone i should call should i give a call to skunk2 and ask them ?oe hondata or some1 ?

I am runing injen cai ,Buddy Club RH, LSD Power 4 Exhaust, P2r throttle spacer, Zex 75 shot Nox ,

I am really intrested in these Skunk 2 stage 1 cams but am not sure if they are nitrous applicable and which are the cams i need like part number or for what motor couldnt find them on corsport for our cars and cam gears also

I`m trying to get as much info as possible before i make my motor go boooom and end up going built k24block with type r head and then result in being broke lol

if your running nitrous i would go with F/I cams of your choice... and if you get cams you will need a good tuning source such as k pro which isnt avalible now. For the cams gears idk if you even need aftermarket? they may can run with stock but idk for sure on that one

you'll be fine w/ the skunk2 stage 1 cams w/ your nitrous setup. A gain of 10whp would be typical. The cams for the rsx type-s (k20a2 or k20z1) are the ones you wanna get for your car. You might also still need to get the exhaust cam gear w/ the skunk cams. not sure on this anymore. i'd check first w/ skunk before purchasing.

ive tryed calling skunk2 alllllllllllllll dayyyyyyyy finally got through like 5 min ago they told me these stage 1 cams n/a are perfectly fine and should work great with my setup including nitrous shot he just suggested i have a/f tuned but theres no tuning for our cars and i would def not wanna go lean ....obviously so i probably wont end up getting these cams just because i need tuning i thought i would be able to slap these babies on and have atleast a good 10whp gain without any issues but im not gonna put these on if theres a risk runing lean

i also asked whats up with every1 saying sk2 cams fukkkkk up our chain tensioner he said its only an issue when people hand turn the crank and you see chain slack but once the motor is on and being ran theres about 20punds pressure of oil so there is no slack on chain tensioner

just a heads up on those who want cam gears......only run the exhaust cam gear, if you put an aftermarket intake cam gear you will lose your vtec
