Don't know if this will work. But it just induces misfire at the set rpm. It also allows you to build boost if you are turbo/sc.

my wifes GTI has that....its very nice...wish we could rig it up for the Si somehow....

I saw a vid once of a guy with i/h/e/reflash and he was running slicks.. I think the car was a GG FG2. At a launch on the strip I just hear that and am like

Ran a 13.9 or something close to that.

Can't find the video though

Didn't sound like it. It was lower than 5,500rpm for sure.
