Doesn't happen with mines. But around staying 5 seconds in 2800-3000rpm it will suddenly smell....

The thought just ran through my head....

normally I know you take off the front wheel, and most of the mud/splash shield to install the intake.

If you take the front bumper off though, do you need to take off the front wheel? It seems to me like you don't, and that it's almost a better/easier way for the install.

All I did was take out the bumper and a few of the pop-pins from the wheel well to put on the bottom tube. You shouldn't need to take out the wheel.

You don't HAVE to take out the front wheel well, but it makes the access to installing the bottom half easier.

that autoanything error isnt there anymore, they will charge you the regular msrp for the intake...and it doesnt show up on their website, you will have to call.

Its probably one of the more easier things i've installed on the car comparing that to clearing the headlights and pulleys.

Not really hard, just time consuming to get the stock airbox out and tubing aligned properly. Other than that it is totally worth it.

It should cost about $200 plus tax, shipping is free. There is a coupon (I think it's SAVENOW that will take off about 15 bucks or you can call them directly and haggle over the phone for a discount. I got mine for $180 from them and with tax (they're in CA so I have to pay tax, so do you) so the total was like $195 shipped. Got here FAST (about 3 days).

do they sell this for the LX? if they do...is it the same price?
