What is your oil percentage? (if it's 5%, you need to reset it to make it go away, and maybe change the oil too :))

Third and last post.

I didn't cut the fender well but I'm now advising that if you don't you keep an eye on it. I've developed wear on my pipe, and it's just a matter of time before it would wear completely threw it. Check this post out:

Injen CAI - Wear on pipe

Congrats on the install...I always enjoy taking stuff apart and then putting it back together again. I hope the guide helped...I know that Injen one was just too difficult to read being it was a black and white copy.

Enjoy your new tones from the 3k-4k range...I really feel the vtec difference now...IT'S AWESOME!

just got mine installed tonight with the good help of my buddie
si_civic....Thanks bro' much appreciated!

We took it out on a test drive after letting it idle for 15 minutes,
and at first I wasnt sure if there was a difference until i hit WOT.
DING DANG DOO!! Im happy as a mofo!

si_civic should get the video of it up soon for you guys along
with a shot under the hood.
Only thing i can complain about is it hurt me bad to actually
cut out the wheel well on a brand new car....Owch!

NO PROBS bro :) Just remember you'll be helping me as well when I get my CAI on my 07 Si !

I'll get the video up ASAP, I still have to decompress it, it's too long for normal uploading.

We saw this couple of months ago. I think somebody said if you called, the sales rep could still find it. But, as been the case with autoanything from the beginning, their website is not correct. :)

Give em a call, and let em know what you want. Make sure it's the 1569 part number, otherwise, you might get something for the Si. They explained to me that a CAI is the same as an SRI, just longer....I don't think the operator knew what I was talking about...just confirm the part number though and you won't be dissapointed!!!

BTW si_civic: where's that video, and when can we expect to see something? :-)

6 Months ago almost I posted this thread...I'm just checking back because I have a question:

Does anyone else with an automatic transmission notice that the car hunts more for power when accelerating with about 30% throttle? Mine will shift from first, to second, then back to first, then briefly to second, and then finally to third (for intown driving). Thanks and happy new year all!
