Ok so i was wondering if anyone has this exhaust and if so how do u like it? hows the sound/gains? I have an Greddy Evo2 and its way to quiet for me so would this be alot deeper like vibrant or what? i already tryed searching youtube but barley anyone has this exhaust and the people that did i couldnt really tell how it sounded.

Also whats the piping size on BCRC and comptech exhaust?

THANKS!!

Dude this is the F/S section.

BCRH is 2.5" @ the test-pipe & so is the Comptech exhaust.

I have the Comptech (now CT-Engineering) exhause and I think its the best sounding on the market. No drone on the freeway. No hint of a ricer sound. None of that farting when you let off the gas. Everyone likes it. My girl, my friends, my 56 year old parents. It spans gender and generations.

^^^ I don't get how he couldn't hear the SC. I can still hear my stock intake over the Comptech Exhaust.

Wrong. I had the comptech w/ the dcrh and now the vibrant w/ dcrh. I didn't like how the comptech stuck out a little further and the flange that meets up with the cat section is only like 2" inner diameter while the rest of the exhaust is 2.5". I've heard from a few members that they didn't get any gains from the exhaust. It does sound good however. Pricey nonetheless. It will be better than the greddy imo. I would rate the comptech pretty high in the sound department. I do like the vibrant better though in all aspects other than installation.

Sound was all I really wanted from my exhaust anyway. 2 peak hp gain isn't worth the headaches and extra attention from the po lease, well to me its not.

If you port out the flange on the comptech, I think it could possibly make something. Otherwise, I would stay with the greddy.

Why port it out? The pipe size coming out of the cat is 2" is it not? If so it's just matching that which isn't going to cause any restriction or loss in power.

I'm averaging 4 to 5 miles per gallon more since I put my comptech exhaust on... I don't know how anyone could dyno exactly same as befor the comptech exhaust... Not sure its possible to NOT see some sort of gain anyways I love mine todeath but it is very quiet if ur wanting to be "loud" I wouldnt recomend the comptech...I got it because I wanted to be quiet

It's fine if you don't get a race header. But if you bigger, then it's a different story.

EVO2 is 2.36" at the cat and at the axle-back 2.6" (or roughly thereabouts). It grows slightly in size from the front to the back. I measured it myself when I owned an EVO2 for my Si and confirmed that to be correct.

Comptech is 2.5", IIRC, the whole way through (outside of by the cat where it's 2" per forum member accounts).
