The Megapower header won't be a shorty (at least I highly doubt it), so it will replace/move the cat, which makes the thing not CARB legal.

Comptech header is carb legal ok hold on the better question would be is it going to be a shorty header or race header ( race header removes Cat )

This is unfortunately simply untrue.

The Si header is not the same as the catalytic converter piece.

I've replaced my cat with a direct bolt on and my stock shorty header is still in place. If it was one piece, it wouldn't have bolted straight in.

Unpolished if it will be cheaper. If you can build it with a high flow cat (a la Vibrant), I will be all over it. S2 70mm catback + S2 header FTMFW!!! Can't wait to see how this develops!

What do most of you like? Raw unfinished stainless steel or polished stainless steel?
Will it fit any better than the Skunk2 exhaust? Polished.
