CT-Engineering (Comptech) Intake Possibly coming out?

I've seen many posts about how CT-Engineering, formerly Comptech, was not planning on making an intake for our cars. However, while browsing their new web page I came upon this:

New Products

It looks like an intake for our cars is under development, weather it's the 'Ice Box' or not I'm not sure. I'll send them an email when I get home tonight.

Me too man. I'm definitely grabbing a CT Supercharger when we finally get a real tunable EMS.

Who the heck knows. Back in February 2006, they said it was gonna be out in June (2006) and then they shut down for a while. Then, it was supposed to be out fall 2007 because they were "almost down with the downpipe." Now here we are 2008. I really waited for the icebox, but I can't imagine it being much different than T1R's carbon fiber intake. Guess we'll see.

I emailed them back in Jan and they basically said not at this time. I think they started working on a prototype and wasn't pleased with the results.

"Some research was done, but our engineers were not exactly happy with what has been designed so far, so at this point we are not working on one. We may visit the project later this year, but unfortunately we do not have an ETA as to when parts may be released. "
