the 2-inch extension for sedan
Hey guys, well i picked up my Ti-C at a local shop, brand new and came with everything. Well, instead of buying the GReddy sedan adapter, i've decided to go to a muffler shop, and weld 2 inches. Now here is my question, where do they weld the 2-inch? on the axleback or the midpipe? And when i go to the muffler shop, do i just ask, "yeah, i need you to weld a 2-inch extension, because my car is made for the 06 si coupe, and the Sedan is a little bit longer, so that's why i need you guys to weld a 2-inch" thanks.

would the muffler shop know where to weld the 2-inches? Or will i have to tell them to weld it on the Midpipe. And is there a certain spot on the midpipe to weld the 2-inches? Or can they just weld the 2-inches anywhere, as long as it's on the midpipe?

i just got mine done,
i went anywhere on the midpipe, a place that was straight. the next thing is to make sure that it does not get twisted while it is being welded. I spend 35 for 1 cut, 2 welds, and a piece of pipe. |
