Well any raceheader you will get a CEL. So you need a defouler. I would personally go DC and use the other cash toward a short shifter or ETD. Also a catless header you won't pass inspection which is any catless race header. It is illegal. Unless you know somebody to hok you up with inpection I wouldn't buy one

well i think dc header is the cheapest one i got mine for 320..n then just make your own defouler for the 02...which is like 5 bucks from autozone...n i think from the reviews buddy club makes like 2 or 3 hp more than the dc but twice the price..

I would recommend a Vibrant Header with a high flow cat since you are looking to pass inspections and the header should not cause a CEL.

i have BC... friend has DC...

Our cars are very close in races.. i do have more pull in the higher speeds though. As far as looks go... The DC looks like i made it! My friend was so mad when i got my BC and it looked like a million bucks! Not to mention stainless steel will not rust... DC uses mild steel coated with a ceramic paint... his already has rust spots scatted all over it.

But you gotta pay for the BC... i got mine from a member for 600

Compare the DC flange against the BC, the the welds, then the steel, then the overall quality. Im plan on keeping my Si forever so, BCRH FTW!

*cough cough*, stainless steel will rust.

Stainless steel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As for DC or BCRH, it's really up to you. BCRH has been known to give 2-4 horsepower more, but for the bang for your buck you could get a few other mods to push those HP up. If you plan on making your car into a show car, then I'd go with BCRH, if you just want power, DC would be the way to go.
