As for DC or BCRH, it's really up to you. BCRH has been known to give 2-4 horsepower more, but for the bang for your buck you could get a few other mods to push those HP up. If you plan on making your car into a show car, then I'd go with BCRH, if you just want power, DC would be the way to go.
Mine hasnt rusted... ive had an eye on it for over a year now

Haven't seen the new design for the DC Sports....or is it still the same looking race header just like RSX-S headers? If so watch out....there is a reason its cheap. The flex pipe on the race header will break easily.

Go with the BC if you really have the money to spend if not go DC its the best mod for this car as far as bang for buck goes.

You wont be disappointed either way.

A lot of what you said is true, I would also like to say if you are looking cheaper way to get MORE power then go DC but if you are looking for the MOST HP with the option to add a HFC then BCRH is a better way to got.

Both the BCRH and the DCRH will remove the cat, so you'll have to figure out a solution to pass emissions.

Bang for the buck? Well if you go by this post..

200+whp Club

You can draw a couple of conclusions:
1. The DCRH is really THAT good.
2. The BCRH folks just didn't have enough money afterward to dyno their car (lol, sorry, I had to).

Longevity may or may not be an issue with the DCRH. Problems have been reported but most DCRH owners swear by their header.

I personally have a Vibrant RH but that's neither here nor there. lol

Well yeah for SOME of the people that have that BCRH could not afford a dyno after buying it

DCRH...

I made ~196hp uncorrected with similar mods to yours and with the guy shifting at 7800 (it was dyno day so I couldn't really complain with them too much)...

Hondata
Xintake (v.9 maf)
DCRH w/ Autozone defouler (no CEL ever)
P2R spacer
Apexi WS2

vid of my setup:

Oh and the flex pipe is fine, I'm so tired of hearing that, it was from like back in the end of 2006. I've owned several DCRH on previous cars and never had a single issue, it was just the FG2 application at the very beginning of when they were selling them, problem has been fixed for well over a year now.

Hey, I went to NCSU and am from Asheville!!

You should get the DCRH and save your money to get your reflash. You will not tell much diff with just the header. You will notice a big diff when you have header + reflash.

Just one thing, if you get the header, make sure you get an exhaust too. Your stock exhaust will mess up and it will be LOUD. I had to take the head off my car. I can't stand the noise.
