I'm thinking about buying the Skunk2 for my Si Sedan, but I'm wondering how noisy it will be when driving casually at highway speeds - does it drone a lot?

The one vid where it says Will cruisin should give you an idea. At highway speeds, there is drone and on long drives it can get annoying, but when you hit VTAK it makes up for it

sp2 is a waste of money you mine as well keep it stock, dont come here creating bullshit when you know nothing about our exhaust, i gained a good amount of torque and hp with mine paired with a injen cai so please dont even start, the sp2 has like no sound, i mine as well just throw a silencer in my stock exhaust

you also learn how to keep it quiet, usually around 3000 rpms i can keep it almost silent, i drove 2 hours to vermont and had no issue, i will admit the second day i had it i actually got a headache from it but you get use to it real quick, its not as bad as people make it seem on here, just turn up ur radio to like 15 and ur good

I agree with xxmstajxx, that sounds pretty whiney to me. I assured you, when you're passing somebody on the freeway they'll think "oh great a ricer" instead of "wow a race car." There's big diff between how that sounds and how this sounds

YouTube - ????????????????????????

It may make the gains, but not fond of how it's sounding.

Cool guys, thanks for the responses. I'm probably going to get the skunk2, but I just noticed they're back-ordered --> Skunk2 Si Sedan
Any other place to get these?

No the engine and exhaust are about proportional in sound, so the sounds are blending. At the tail end of the vid you can definitely hear the exhaust more too. Even if it is all engine, what matters is the quality of the sound, not where it's coming from.

The Vibrant is a good exhaust oem looking, good sound at WOT,Minimal drone while cruising but i prefer the Skunk2 70mm nothing else offers the same pull on the market for this car

I have no experience with the 60mm but on a N/A i guess it would still allow some back pressure so it might feel slightly more TQ'y down low.

But IMO its 70mm or nothing once you start modding away you will realize this if you drove another SI with a 70mm for comparison.
