I just replaced mine with redshift lca 3" last night. It took me and another guy 30 mins. There's only 3 bolts and 3 rubbers to take off. WD40 might help to take off the bolts connecting to the cat.

Its not too bad I recomend PB Blaster and a good size wrench to get leverage if you on jack stands.

Pretty much just as easy as the axle back with three connections vs. one. Like any other time you're working under the car, the higher you can get it off of the ground the easier the job will be. Make sure you have all of the necessary gaskets and bolts/nuts. It sucks when you've already torn the stock stuff off and are putting the new stuff on when you realize you're going to need some hardware. Been there, done that.

WD40 on the rubber mounts helps you pull it off the stock exhaust.

i think fijisan was asking in preparation for installing my skunk2 70mm... it went fine, aside from those *$%*##($ gaskets... seriously, how do we go to 4 diff auto parts stores and only 2 of them have any, and only 1 each at that...

it was alllllll about the leverage; just gotta get the sweet spot and crank it out... thanks to fijisan for helping me get my first exhaust install done smoothly!

My buddy club catback comes on Monday, ill do a writeup then as there doesn't seem to be one in the diy section. I'm planning on doing pics and all. I looked at the entire pipe earlier last week while having my oil changed at corsport, it looks pretty easy, thank god for impact wrenches, one of the bolts on the back of my cat was almost completely white! Ill tell you guys how it goes on Monday I guess.

depending on which exhaust u get its 5 bolts or 7 bolts and 3 rubber hangars....should not take more than 30 minutes to install....I've had 4 different systems on my car and I think i can do it in 15 minutes now lol

yeah the skunk two was only two more bolts than stock, and the cat bolts weren't that hard to get off but the hangers were a PITA as always....after everything's said and done to get the stock exhaust off and the skunk2 ON, the entire process only took...maybe 30 minutes

i suggest to remove the hangars from the body first then when the exhaust is off remove them from there...a whole lot easier

yeah that's what we did, the only one i had a REAL hard time with was the one infront of the muffler, not the hangar that hangs the muffler

the only issue i had that took longer than puttin the exhaust on itself were the bolts. i couldnt get leverage to break them. we eventually got them and put the exhaust on in about 10 min. that bolt on top of the cat was a lil hard to get loose.
