Thumbs up T1R Air Conduct Box

Here is the long awaited Air Conduct Box the 8thgens have been waiting for! Here is it installed in an FG and how it looks like. We should have these up for sale soon because everything went really well.

Enjoy.

I have to admit that it one good looking intake system. If I weren't going with a cowl induction system, I might have to jump on this instead. Looks well engineered and well thought out. Should make a nice performance gain, plus, it has some bling as well.

Thank you for the compliment. We have spent a lot of time and R&D to get this product where it is today. It will have good gains, we will hope to get a dyno result asap if we can. If not we can get out customers to dyno it with the parts in his car, he also has parts from us T1R 70RR, T1R Power Header, and see if he gets this also. This will let everyone know the results of the T1R combo.

There is a maf (all comes with MAF), in the 2nd picture. The maf sits on top just like the stock box.

Yes, the MAF section will be all pre-drilled. Its plug in play baby, bolt-on!

is there any bracket to hold the air duct parts on the Third pictures? btw, that's a nice new intake system, similar to the mugen one.

I will try to find out a confirm price for everyone tomorrow. Since we are closed, I am helping everyone out on my spare time at home.

Let us know when you are ready, as I stated before the intake will be ready to purchase by the end of this month. Will let everyone know for sure when you can.

NICE. Do want.

How's the throttle response in lower&mid range?
The OE response is kinda dead due to the DBW, i hope this box would help make things a bit more alive.

my only gripe is that intake duct is close to the frame of the car and will vibrate too much hitting the frame.

i'm thinking some weather sealing foam might do the trick to stop it from damaging the intake duct.

i remember modifying my stock intake into the homemade icebox and the throttle response improve a bit, so this one will give a good throttle response.

my concern is there's no brackets holding on to the air duct though.

Actually, you do not really need to worry about, it sits pretty firmly.

The response has improved over stock and you will not get the jerky low RPM like the Intake that are out there in the market. Throttle response are improved from lower to mid range. This wil help the DBW to be better than before.

It is not that close as it seem, maybe its because of the picture. It sits pretty firmly and you do not worry about it vibrating. If you want to be extra precaution you can do the foam trick, but you really do not need to do that.

Do not worry, we R&D it and we have no issues with the vibrating noise that it rubbs. You guys should not be worried about that at all because it sits pretty firm and when we test drove it there was no vibrating noises.
