Awesome to see you guys are coming closer to getting the intake done.

It's funny people wan't to rush the RandD process and then bitch when they get a rushed end result. Hence why T1R takes a while to make sure it's a great product, not a rushed POS.

Can't wait to see the final product.

What if this thread goes way of the Password JDM intake?

Oops, that might jinx it. And if they can't resolve the MAF placement I'd be happy to get one without the MAF hole and use a custom MAF adapter.

you just re-use the parts you already have. unless you dont have your stock intake anymore.

Same hesitation issues as any of those style intakes. I drove an si with a stock box last night and started kicking myself for throwing out my OEM intake system.

Yea I no longer have any of the OEM intake pieces. Their pictures of it installed show some OEM intake pieces re-used... possible $400 + some OEM parts is not worth it. so i hope whatever elbows and lower boxes are not shown in their product pictrue will be included in the $400 price

why would you throw out your old stuff?

hopefully you can find someone selling their stock intake because the T1R won't come with the OEM stuff you need.

Just in case people missed this little statement at the top of the page. You will not need to be looking for OEM pieces to fill in the gaps....

Updates?
