they just recently decided to change the location of the maf. and that picture was taken before they changed it so theres no way its a hole for the maf.

thats true about the pic being taken before the MAF being changed.

but to me it still looks like there a hole in the pipe. dont know what its for, its just there.

this intake looks like it retains some oem factory parts. like the elbow off the throttle body, and the lower half of the intake box... What about us that have short rams or cold airs and no longer have those OE pieces?

you would have to get one or you can cut the short ram to make it fit

I imagine that because the upper portion if this intake is almost identical to the stock air box it shouldn't be an issue, but I would like to confirm that.

I don't know about all this. First they said they R&D'd it to perfection, but they don't have any dyno #'s; then they change the location of the MAF, because it works better in another spot. Hhhmmm....... I believe they said they moved the MAF location to the pipe, so that's pretty much the stock location, right?

the only way i'm buying this is if i can get the WHOLE intake... i dont have any of the stock pieces anymore and this looks to use the lower half of the OEM intake box as well as the elbow off the throttle body and some tubing coming out of the lower half of the intake box.. none of which i have anymore

I work every Saturday, meet are only on Saturdays. Plus, I work swings so 10am to me is like 4am for all the 9-5ers. I'll make it one day this summer.
