Someone should get the t1r and do a comparison.
Except 1) X's intake was optimized for stock Si's and 2) gains on a chart aren't everything. Responsiveness, idling are just some of the factors that aren't reflected on a dyno chart.

If ppl think dyno charts are everything, then just buy an Injen and ignore all these threads. You're not going to make +15hp with this intake.

I agree. I've been there, with the injen cai, stock w/ k&n, fujita sri, x intake, and then back to the injen cai and the driveability isn't that bad this time with the injen cai w/ apexi filter. I just wouldn't trade the power for a little better driveability. I didn't think like this about a couple months ago. I'm really just glad I didn't get a cel this time with the injen.
You should talk to pwrful4 on his thoughts on this intake him and me both have had wonderful performance out of our intakes. To each his own. I hope someone in my area will get the t1r just so I can see/hear/feel how it performs as well.

Updates?! I'm gonna be all over this when it comes out. Just a question, as this keeps a more or less stock look/fit up to the TB I'm assuming that there won't be any fitment issues with the P2R TBS? Anyways, updates would be appreciated AJR, and a price estimate!

hmm im stuck between the T1R air conduct box and the ARC super induction box. I called Mackin before and they told me that ARC wont be out before fall and that the one they had on their car caused a problem. He said that the MAF being on the bottom got so hot that it fried the sensor/wiring. Joey will this be an issue on the T1R? I can only imagine what a new MAF sensor would cost so if theres even a chance of it getting that hot that it fries, ill stick with fujita...thanks

To answer your question, no the MAF will not be fried. We have no problem what so ever. The product has been running perfect since the time we R&D and never experience any issues. You should be safe and nor worry at all, we have perfect it.

Update:
We have relocated the MAF Sensor, it will not be on top of the box, it will be
on the of the pipe arm as everyone has been talking before.

Good thing, b/c I don't think it would have run right if it was on top of the box.

We change it because we found out that it works better on the pipe than on the top of the box. We would take pre-order but we do not want to take customers money without knowing the exact, will let everyone know until further notice. We get a load, hence a lot of parts in next week. Our shipment comes in so we will be getting everything and hoping the intake will come in. I think some new parts for the FG/FA will come in next week, if it does I will post up the product.
