$600 refund

Well my bank roll went up $600 and i am new to the Si. I just sold my 07 GTI and got an 07 Si. The GTI with a re-flash is putting down 227HP / 246TQ at $599

So my question is what will $600 get me as far as HP/TQ numbers go?
What is the best bang for the buck?

TIA

You won't hit 220 WHP with $2 gs. Bolt-ons will only take you so far, I'd say 210 at the most. Some dynos run a bit high imo, so anyone saying 215 out of their i/h/e is getting inflated numbers. If you want to hit 220+ WHP, you're looking at boosting.

2g' will give you 20-25whp gain. Spend $60.00 on dyno on a stock baseline. It's worth it. Just get some dc header , and make your own intake. Forget reflash . reflash is not good with out header and intake.

You need a minimum of intake/header/(?)exhaust or you'll lose power. It really doesn't gain much at the top end. But you get like 25ish WHP midrange?

227hp cannot be your hp at the WHEEL...the factory GTI has only about 200hp...unless you got some serious bolt ons..otherwise your probably lookin at only 200hp at the wheel also (if you have 227hp at the CRANK)..or even less..the stock only has a few ponies over the Si..the only difference in power is the factory turbo and torque...so yea i think your mistaken.
