Question about exhausts...

This may sound like a noob question but does the loudness of a exhaust have anything to do with the sound/deep level of the exhaust? because i wanna get a exhaust for 2006 Si but i dont want it to sound rediculously loud and obnoxious like some of the cars i hear on the street. Sorry for my ignorance, i am kind of new to this but im willing to learn.

Thanks

Im confused by your question. Basically you asked this...

"Are loud exhausts loud?"

I dont mean to offend... just trying to get some clarification on your question.

No i understand what your saying i basically am saying I want a good sound out of my exhaust but i dont want the thing to rattle windows when I drive out of my garage. I like the sound out of the Skunk2 but it is soo loud that it turns me off from it.

I was on the impression that the Vibrant wasn't so loud as that. *shrug*

It's loud, but it doesn't drone like other loud exhaust do. You can make it drone, but just driving normal, it's not bad.

I like the Greddy Evo 2's sound at high revs. low revs sound raspy but maybe its the video im watching...

I guess my main concern is that i dont want it to sound "ricer-ish"

greddy sp2, apexi ws2, and tanabe medallion touring would be your best choices if you want stockish looks at 60mm.
If you want something bigger, you could get the vibrant (65mm), but it will be louder than I think you will want from what you're explaining.

Ok so I took your advice and looked at the ones you had given me and I have a question, I see different Tanabe Medalions... One says "Touring" and the other "Concept G" and their is a significant difference in price, any reason why?

Thanks
