I'm actually really interested in the T1R exhausts that are out now but haven't heard them (I'm sure a youtube video if there is one doesn't do the exhausts justice). if you had to compare both T1R exhausts to more owned exhausts (greddy ti-c/vibrant/apex'i/etc), what would you say they sound like? Also is there really that much of a gain difference between the 2 different exhausts? p/m me

First of all I would like to say we do not have the 8thgen Titanium Exhaust. It is being planned out if it should be made or not. This is what this whole thread is all about. Seeing if there is an interest in it.

We have sold T1R Exhaust and T1R Power Header for that price, I'm not gonna say we sell a alot, but we sell a very good amount of them.

Are you asking why the T1R Exhaust and Power Header is better than other ones out there? Well to answer this is because it has been dedicated time and precise of the product being made. From the welds to the quality of the product. The product is known to last for years without any problem. We put it through a lot of R&D to pass our requirement before it is produce to the consumers. If we do not like how the product is, it is then revised and the manufacture fixes it, then we test it again with an R&D. When the products meets the test and standard of our R&D, then it will be posted up for sale to consumers. T1R products are not only made to make maximum power, but it is also made to make the car improve its drivability, and keep its durability. Therefore, making a great amount of power, but at the same time improves the car drivabilty and maintains the car durability.

For example, the Intake that will be releasing soon but the entire concept is not meant for horse power, but it will give you a significant improves the throttle response and engine acceleration besides that it also improves the drivability. Besides power there are a lot of points that we consider about such as the engine response /acceleration for a daily driving or track performance

It will not be making like a lot or for example 10 horse power or more. I am just stating that it will slightly make a little more horse power than the stainless still one because it is lighter.

Power to Weight makes the biggest difference, that is why there will be a slight gain of power over the stainless steel.

That's $1340 + the adapter. There would be NO way I would even think about cutting the J's.

Since there has been interests in this product, I will see what I can do and talk it over with my staff as regards for price, pictures, and dyno. Since we do not have the actual product it is hard to give you how much power, but approximate from the other full titanium exhaust.

Glad you have found this thread! How much horse power is unknown, but we can get an approximate power range with the other T1R Full titanium exhaust. I will try to find some information tomorrow and I will let everyone know.

Just get whichever one is cheaper lol. T1R copies a lot of designs from companies like J's, Spoon, and etc from japan.

Sorry if u took it negatively. Dont get me wrong, I love T1R and they're great products. I'm not trying to bash the sponsor or their products by any means. Look at my profile and u'll see all the T1R stuffs i have on my car. It's just that I want to inform ppl that they do copy off J's or Spoons designs and if u have 2 identical designs, from a budget minded consumer point of view is to get the one that is cheaper.

In my standpoint, there's nothing wrong with that considering that J's and Spoons designs are proven to work with their extensive r&d and since those companies dont make direct parts for our car (they only have parts designed for dc5, AP2, and FD2, but then we share same/similar parts with these cars), it's a good thing that T1R sees this as a market/sales opportunity and produce the parts for our car while copying their designs/ideas. Unless some people are really into the authentic name brands, then one would try to get the best bang for the buck.

Sorry if u misintrepreted/misunderstood my post. If I was a potential customer, I would appreciate an "informed purchase". That's why this forum was created and we all constantly come back to this board, so we can share our knowledge, learn from other people's experiences, and be "informed" in our next purchase

But anyways, T1R all the way! Keep up the great work AJ-Racing, and more parts for our cars please.

how quiet are these? I was thinking of Greddy or Tanabe due to the noise restrictions in certain areas and besides i want to be quiet as well. I love my FA5 and I dont want to be classified as a ricer.

I certainly wouldn't spend 1k on an exhaust since that's too rich for my blood, but if this thing produced gains in excess of 8+ WHP I think it could sell pretty well.

i got the normal 63s stainless steel exhaust for $800. So, expect the full ti to be over 1k for sure. But the sound, titanium tip, overall design, and the hp gain is really what sold me to this exhaust.
