VID: Hondata Reflash - I/H/E painted WS2

Hey, well I got off jury duty early today after I decided to postpone and had the rest of the day off so I took a couple of vids. Notice especially clear in the third launch the lowered vtec engagement point, the power is MUCH smoother and it just sprints to redline (I was shifting at 8200 but could have gone up to 8600) - for all those who haven't riden in an SI with the reflash. I'm a huge fan of this setup overall. I had some vids with the windows down but it was too loud with the wind noise, you can hear much more of a sucking sound from the intake and a definite exhaust tone in person. All engine mods include:

P2R tb spacer
Xintake
DCRH
WS2 exhaust
Hondata reflash

Also you can see in the exhaust clip how I painted ala Cation style my WS2 for an under the radar type look. My camera couldn't catch it but at the low end when the muffler sounds really quiet in the clip, that's where there's tons of bass, it's pretty sweet and I'm getting used to the higher volume levels over stock

P.S. wasn't sure what the hell the old lady was doing in the first launch, she wandered over half way to block me from my acceleration lane and didn't want me passing her on the left...

BrineSI, I thought you had the SP2? Btw, I like the ninja exhaust. Going to high-temp paint my exhaust as soon as I get one.

Yeah, loving it. 8thcivic community FTMFW! In order of how things happened:

The Xintake I have was the second one produced and was essentially free from Xfactor (I had to buy CRV tube and Apexi filter) because I made the trek an hour away several times to help him dyno test the intake and made the lil' video for him. When he threw on my xintake he also installed my p2r spacer in the process which was purchased used from a user on this board.

Zeuceone installed my prokits, skunk2 camber arms and then months later the DCRH which was ordered from SCtuned. Zeuce (Gabe) is the fu.cking man.

Great advice from you led me to the WS2 which happened to be up for sale that same day only an hour drive away from Qwerty who I met and they installed that for me the following Friday. Then I painted the canister black with a friend that Saturday ala the Cation post.

Its been great timing, met some really cool people and the amount of $$$ saved in great pricing through vendors, second hand stuff, parts given away and 8thcivic member installs is crazy. But hey, this is why I was a clubsi.com convert to 8thcivic because of the member quality and interaction!

Nope, ws2. Ninja exhaust FTW, perhaps ninja cat as well (see other post on cats).

Nice, those look sweet. Zeuceone has that on his car and it sounds and looks nice! That was my second option had I not wanted to go ninja mode...

Nope, that's a canon SD630 still camera in movie mode wedged in my passenger side headrest! Really worked out well, tried a timelapse with a 5 minute clip of me driving and it was completely smooth, saweet!
