Smile Skunk2 Mega power R / Prokit install

I received my exhaust and prokit springs yesterday and like always I have to install as soon as received. the install was very straight forward and took about 25 minutes for exhaust and about 1 1/2 for the springs . while installing the size difference between the DCRH and the Skunk2 exhaust is quite significant. when I first started it up there was a clunk noise( exhaust hitting under the car) . after looking it is hitting by the main bends of the exhaust, tried to loosen everything and adjust but there is not really anymore play to move it. Anyone else have this issue??

well all i have to say is that this exhaust is rediculously loud. The drone inside the car is not bad on the highway but when your cruising around town and down shifting is the worst. For me, I dont care but my girlfriend does not want to go in my car anymore.(have to put silencer in for her in car). The power band seems to be much smoother and I can feel difference above 6k.

the springs are just what i expected and ride very well. the drop is perfect and and very happy with the choice. it does not appear camber is much worse that is was already stock. I am waiting about a week before alignment to let the settle.

Yes, installing the springs on this car is very easy. i have lowered every car that i have owned(JETTA, RSX,TL) and this was by far the easiest. as long as you have impact gun and proper tools, it does not take long.
I will try to take pics today. it was raining and dark out when complete yesterday so I will try today.

You will have to take a marker and mark were the exhaust sits close to the car(in the s bend) and then drop the exhaust and use a hammer and beat the spots that you marked with the marker up a lil bit to make clearance for the 2 3/4 piping that you now have under the car.........This is common for other skunk2 owners.........

hey I have the same set up as you DCRH and Kunk2 70mm mega power R.......the clanking is when it vibrates against other metal on the car. All i did was cut and/or bend all the metal at the ends and that stopped the noise.

Have you put any sort of intake on your car yet? the sound is ridiculously loud so Im not sure if I wanna put one on but if I do it'll be a self made one.

I also have the injen CAI and I dont think the Intake even makes a difference of sound. the exhaust is so loud that it will just drown it out anyway.
