Exhaust or Wheels?

I want to get some new mods for early summer coming up, but I'm stuck between 2 routes. Can't decide between getting the Vibrant header w/ hfc and Vibrant cat-back or getting new wheels (enkei evo 5 or konig feather) and tires (not sure what kind). Aesthetically, the H/E sounds great and wheels make the car look better. Performance, H/E = more power and wheels reduce weight and improve traction. From your experiences, which would be a more effective/noticeable change to aesthetics and performance? So far I already have SS, CAI, and tint. Any suggestions?

i'd go w/ the H/E personally... simply getting new wheels wont give you better traction. Its nice tires that will get you traction

hmmm. Well im a sucker for looks. I on the other hand came across a great deal on exhaust so I picked that up prior to a set of wheels. Its a toss up for me.

if i were to get wheels i would get a good set of tires as well. from where i've been looking, either H/E or wheels/tires would cost me about the same so still a bit of toss-up, how much of a difference would i notice in adding H/E to my intake?

cant say b/c i dont have intake or header. i just have exhaust

vibrant header + exhaust = roughly $1100
lightweight wheels + good tires = at least $1500

not the same in my book

yea i guess if i do get real quality tires that will bring the price up a bit. right now i'm leaning towards H/E if it will give me a noticeable power increase (i'll have I/H/E). otherwise i'll probably get the wheels/tires.

i'm definitly leaning towards the header and exhaust now. seems everyone is pretty happy about the performance I/H/E will give ya.

personally im going to hold off until we have more tuning options for our cars, i dont want to jump on the i/h/e reflash train because thats all anyone is doing. my last car was old and looked like crap so this one im gonna make look nice. Once KPro comes out for our cars it will open up a new world for all of us

that will be a great day for our cars when a tuning solution comes out. from the sounds around these parts, it may not be too far...at least we all hope. I/H/E seems to get a decent bit of power out of the si, tho, particularly with reflash. not to mention some of the setups sound grrreat. right now it seems less than the wheel/tire setup. i still have about 2 months to decide...

If you're gonna get some lightweight wheels, I would get them over the exhaust.

i would be getting lightweight wheels and good tires or header w/hfc and catback. which would produce more noticeable performance gains? i can see where both make performance, but one is measured in horsepower and one gives traction/less weight...
