Heat is the bane of cf. I suppose you could keep it waxed all the time, which should help the appearance, or there are applications for fiberglass gelcoat that keeps it looking smooth and shiny.

That's why I posed that question earlier. I asked the OP why there was a hole there. Could it be for the factory cold air hookup? Inquiring minds want to know.

i think that the piece of carbon fiber that is mounted on top of the battery leads air to that hole, thats my guess

the hole in the side of the airbox is for incoming engine bay airflow...

this is from their site.


and that plate that goes over the battery helps direct, and isnt just for looks. although it sho is pertty.
